They make every effort to not sound hymn like. The old words and unusual grammar arrangements are poetic devices, not church talk. You find them in pop music too

by OnTheWayOut inmost churches are back to in-person worship.
not jehovah's witnesses.
is watchtower still managing to fleece the flocks as the sheeple no longer get literature, no longer go to the kh, no longer walk past the donation box?

Locals just sent a big check because the bank account had money over the recommended (mandated) amount for operations. And no, they didnt think about the needed roof replacement. I got a blank stare when I asked if the "owner" had insurance or a fund for that. I knew the answer, was trolling a bit

Should Jehovah’s Witnesses Be Involved In Social Issues?
by minimus inmost religious leaders support social justice causes.
even if they don’t heavily involve themselves in political matters, they still support social community issues.. do you respect when religious leaders involve themselves in the community for the community’s welfare?
?.

No. Social justice is a red herring in most instances
Doing actual charity work like disaster cleanup would be good but things like reimagining social constructs is wrong. Not that there aren't social constructs that need changed but there almost always is an agenda that gets in the way.

“Joshua” and “Jesus” are the same Greek and Hebrew/Aramaic name: is this not confusing?
by psyco ingod’s name disappeared in the christian greek scriptures and its pronunciation got lost in the hebrew-aramaic ones.
the current vowels of the hebrew pronunciation of god’s name are taken from the “adonay” (“lord”) hebrew word which were the vowels chosen by who did not want to pronounce his name.
whereas the current latin pronunciation of god’s name (“jehovah”) was introduced by raymundus martini, a spanish monk of the dominican order, in his book published in 1270 c.e.

Every name in the bible is made up. The translation describes the person, good or bad. Who assigned the names?
